21/3/94 William Daley, boatswain. Broken thigh. In a dispute , a man knocked him down breaking his thigh. At the time of the occurence the boatswain was on shore.

On July 2nd we saw the SS Venetia of Hamburg ashore sent our boat on board & enquired if he wanted any assistance, at 2.45pm wind south. At 8.10 we began towing him & towed him off at 8.20pm. Proceeded on voyage.
