November 19th 1893 7.45am, Walter Courtney, deck hand. Thrown overboard by the wheel on the port side at the same time a sea washed onboard. Attempts were made but could not save him.

21/11/93 mouth of the Humber. Edward Dixon, boatswain. Both legs severely bruised the trawl was being placed on the rail when it slipped & jammed Dixon against the engine room.
