14 November 1894 North Sea. Captain Halliday & Mrs Halliday. The deceased were the Captain & his wife of the British sailing ship Culmore lost in the North Sea 14/11/94. It is supposed that while in the water in an exhausted condition, that they were killed by the Swift quarter settling on them after being struck by a heavy sea, they died a few minutes after being brought on board.
