Record of Casualty.
23rd May 1895 about 7.45am North Sea. Collision with the SS James Hogg of Middlesbrough. Sinking him in 7 minutes. The crew escaped in their boats & were pulled on board our vessel, no lives being lost.
16/5/95 North Sea. Stove in boat & cracked one plank in the bottom. Shipped a heavy sea, washing boat overboard, when it was recovered the damage specified was found to have resulted.
