North Sea 25th September 1894. Collision, sank a German herring lugger.

On Tuesday 2/10/94 at about 3am we started to heave in our gear, when we got the bag nearly in we noticed some herringers buoys around us. When we got our gear aboard, I started the engines ahead to get clear, we then found that the propellor had got foul of some ropes. We grappled & brought up a warp which we had to cut away to clear our propellor.

On Monday October 8 at 9am we left the fishing grounds for home ran aground.
