10/8/94 North Sea. Samuel Glansford, skipper. The force of the collision recorded below, with the GY smack Theodore unshipped the mizzen boom which fell on the skipper, breaking two left ribs, fracturing left thigh & spraining right ankle.
Record of Casualty.
10/8/94 North sea. Collided with the Grimsby smack Theodore. We were both towing not far apart on the same tack, when his gear became fast to some obstruction. He stopped suddenly and there was not enough room for our 3rd hand who was on watch, to avoid collision.
