The cook upset a can of oil when trimming the mast head light, and lighting a paper to find the burner which had fallen on the floor the oil caught fire.Destroying part of the mens clothes, copper lanterns, mast head, side lights & riding lights, and burning port side of engine room & cabin and destroying all the packing of the engine.
