22/12/1900 River Humber about noon. Vessel grounded on the Skitter Sand - later on the Holm Sand, no damage sustained. Through myself & 2nd hand being incapable of handling her properly due to our being under the influence of drink.

22/12/1900 River Humber about 4.50pm. Ran into Admirality Pier at Paull doing damage to it, but none to our vessel. Cause - as above.
