22 May 1902 about 2.30pm. J Pearman, boatswain. Fractured right knee through the warp striking him, caused by one of the after bollards breaking.

As above. One of the after starboard bollards broken. Cause - the gear became fast to some obstruction thus throwing an extra weight on the warp and breaking the bollard to which it was fast.
