About 11.30 Sunday night October 26 about 190 miles Spurn bearing WSW. Smack Cavalier of Hull laying on the port tack collided with us.

Name of person illtreated - William Hall. Name of person by whom illtreated- John Henry Hall. Saturday morning November 1st about 190 miles Spurn bearing WSW. Struck at him which caused him to fall. Caused through an argument about the breakfast kettle. John Henry Hall was not punished owing to the skipper reporting that he had great provocation from his brother who always behaved in a very annoying way towards him. Both have been cautioned as to their future behaviour.
