April 10th Wednesday 4.30 am explosion in back end of boiler man drawing ashes from furness, explosion blew all the red hot ashes over him & burnt him. Name F Bonell age 26.
Official Log.
An adjourned inquest with refernce to the death of F Bonell was held by the Hull City Coroner on May 8th when a verdict was returned of accidental death. Bonell was admitted into the Hull Infirmary on April 13th where he succumbed to his injuries on the following Wednesday - April 17th 1907.
