Memoranda by Skipper.

On 25 December 7am our 4th Hand J Craven refused to come on deck and help trawl, and likewise struck work all day. Again on Monday 27 at 5pm refused to hoist up the light when ordered to do so. Again at 10pm refused to to come on deck to put down the trawl. Neither can he steer our smack as he should.
