On May 21st 1887 Charles Glover 3rd Hand came down the cabin after his watch on deck and told the mate that he ( the mate ) was a B. and told him to come on deck and he would knock his head off his shoulders.

Sunday May 29th the 2nd & 3rd hand challenged one another to a fight, and they faught on deck, all during the voyage they have been quarrelling one with the other. It has been with great difficulty for me to keep the ship at sea to finish the voyage.
