Record of Death or Injury.
Robert Margreaves 3rd Hand apprentice. 9th February 1889 North Sea 6.30am. Collar bone fractured. A heavy sea broke on board and washed him under the boat so that he was crushed between it ( the boat ) and the deck.
Record of Casualty.
9th February 1889 6.30 am North Sea. Lost mizen mast. mizen sail. 2 jibs, trawl anchor, 30 fathom of chain 100 fathom of warp and had our boat slightly broken. Shipped a heavy sea.
