12th January 1890 North Sea. Name of person illtreated - G Matson skipper, by F Glenton 2nd hand. Striking with fists in the face & body. Because there was no pudding, it being Sunday. The 2nd hand first insulted me then struck me.

For the assault referred to on page 11 F Glenton the 2nd Hand has been fined 10/- under regulations 3 & 9 for maintaing discipline. This amount has been paid into this office this day. 16th January 1890.
