Record of Casualty.
On the morning of the 25 December in the Silver Pit North Sea. Came in collision with the smack Orient .
North Sea, Silver Pit 10 January 10 1890 11.30am. Lost our boat. Sea struck boat, returning from cutter and overturned her when about 300 yards away from us. The occupants the 2nd & 3rd hands were precipitated into the water but were rescued by the boat of the smack Success of Hull and returned on board our ship.
