Memoranda by Skipper. At 10am on Monday 22nd February 1892 we sighted ahead a vessel dismasted. We at once bore down to her & found it was the Norwegian Bergantine Josva of Stavanger derelict. We lay by until midnight when the weather moderated , we then placed three of our crew on board & commenced to tow & arrived all well at Grimsby Roads on Friday February 20 1892. The vessel was afterwards by agreement taken in tow by a Grimsby tug and brought to Hull Saturday morning February 27th.
