Admin History:

The Humber Keel and Sloop Preservation Society was founded in 1970 and became a charity and company limited by guarantee in 1974. It was founded for the purpose of preserving and operating examples of vessels which sailed on the Humber. The vessel Comrade was bought in 1974 and was operational by 1976 and Amy Howson was bought in 1976 and was operational by 1980.
