- Contains minute books recording meetings of Hull Philharmonic Society Executive Committee and Ladies Committee, and also recording the business of Special Meetings and AGMs. Note that from 1971 meetings of the Ladies Committee are no longer recorded in the main series of minute books but are sometimes referred to. Also, meetings of the Orchestra Committee and Finance Sub-Committee (formed during the late 1970s) are not recorded in the main series of minute books but are sometimes referred to.
