Description:: The visit took place on Fri 25 Jun 1971 in celebration of the Society's 150th Anniversary year. It also formed part of a larger visit to the City. Her Royal Highness Princess Ann arrived by air at Leconfield and was received by the Lord Lieutenant of the East Riding of York and County of Kingston upon Hull (the Rt. Hon. The Earl of Halifax JP.) She also visited the Hull and East Riding Institute for the Blind and the Guildhall.
