Admin History:

The Bransholme Land (Special) Committee was established with quite specific terms of reference. It was to enquire as to why the amount of interest due in respect of the purchase of 62.32 acres of land at Bransholme was not included in the Rate estimates for 1969-1970. It would establish responsibility for such an omission and advise on any action the council could take as well as enquire into any related matters during the course such an enquiry. Having completed it's enquiry, the committee was dissolved.
