Admin History:

A committee of corporation members, which would act as a deputation to meet the directors of the Hull Dock Company, was established by the full council in November 1886. It's aim was to settle 'all the questions pending' between the two organisations. The last minuted meeting seems to have been in May 1888, and although members were still being appointed to the committee in November 1890, it does not appear to have met again.
