Compiling and presenting reports has been an essential part of the Town and City Council's operations since its inception and, up until 1931, reports were usually printed within the minutes of the relevant committee. From 1931 however, the reports were filed into a series of volumes for each year, and these can be found at C TCR/1. These volumes corresponded with the volumes of minutes, so that reports will be found in the same volume number as the minutes. The printing and publishing of such reports was discontinued from 2006 when the reports became accessible through the city council’s website.
