Appointed in November 1886, this committee was to inquire into the duties performed by the officials in the Borough Treasurer's and Accountant's Departments, and report as to the desirability of reducing the staff and re-arranging their duties or otherwise. The committee was last re-appointed in November 1890 with it's members serving until November 1891. It appears the committee was terminated at this stage.
