Admin History:

The Waterworks (Coal) Special Committee was instituted in October 1894 to enquire into and report on the sums paid to one Mr. J. Dawson for coal. It was also to look into any other matter affecting the administration of the Waterworks and report back. Having reported back to the full council, the committee was dissolved in November of the same year.
