This file includes correspondence regarding the unsuitability of the Gloucester Street Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Depot and the process involved in the requisition and establishment of the Marlborough Garage at 30-32 Princes Avenue and a Civil Defence Motor Vehicle Spray Painting shop at 44 Spring Bank. Later correspondence concerns the vacation of the properties by the Civil Defence after the end of the War. Maintenance Depot stock lists are also included dated 1942.
