- Loans were made to students towards the expenses of attending teacher training colleges and all other institutions of higher education. Each document consists of the agreement made between the student and his sureties of the loan and the arrangements for repayment and naming the institution to be attended. Inside the agreement were filed details of repayments and correspondence which was substantial in a few cases where difficulties arose over the re payments. The agreements were filed in bundles according to the year in which the loan was paid off.
