- Some records were already held by the Hull City Archives on its creation in 1968 while additional records were transferred by the Town Clerk's and Chief Executive's Department in 1993. Records not relating to the Hull area, which did not interest the Corporation, or duplicates of records held elsewhere, have been de-accessioned in line with the Hull City Archives appraisal policy.
