Admin History:

Joseph Chapman's will of 1816 left payments to the Vicar of Holy Trinity in Hull and for the poor. Chapman is also believed to have left money for the upkeep of a school for poor boys. The Chapman's School Trust and the Vicar's School merged in 1840.
