Admin History:
In 1927 a fire on Hull's Northumberland Avenue resulted in the death of Alice Hilliard, wife of Launcelot Hilliard, a dredgerman. A subscription fund was raised for the benefit of thier four children, Margaret, Alice, Mary and John Hilliard. The fund was administered by a number of trustees and invested in a Hull Corporation Short Term Loan Account. The Trustees were to divide the fund equally between the four children upon reaching the age of 21 years. When the last of the children, John, reached that age in 1942 the remaining money was paid out and the fund was wound accordingly.
