Admin History:
Robert Jameson, a prominent local businessman was an active supporter of education in the area, and in particular, the Hull and East Riding College. A scholarship was founded by subscription in his name in 1874. It was to support students from Hull at Oxford or Cambridge Universities. Although it was registered with the Charity Commission in 1977 it was amalgamated with other charities in 1992
