The Hull Daily Mail has many articles on temperance in Hull. References can be located in the Local Studies card indexes. For example in the Hull Daily News there are two items on the opening of a new temperance bazaar in Hull by the Bishop of Lincoln, dated 1 October 1920 (p5) and 9 October 1920 (front page). A piece relating to the death of Bertram Fox can be found in the Hull Daily Mail, dated 24 September, 1963 on p8. At L.178 are additional leaflets for meetings of the United Kingdom Alliance in Barton upon Humber, Beverley, Gainsborough, Goole, Grimsby and Hull.
