Includes handwritten pencil annotations. Also includes a letter addressed to T. Tindall Wildridge from Joseph Armytage Wade, thanking Wildridge for wishing to print his biography but requesting he postpones printing it until after his death or after he has achieved something more "worthy", dated 20 May 1889. The letter is pasted to page 317 which relates to J. A. Wade, J.P. and includes a note above his portrait which states the portrait and biography of J. A. Wade appeared in this copy only and that he never saw either.
