Admin History:
Originally founded in the U.S.A., the Sons of Temperance Friendly Society came to the Great Britain in 1849. Discussions regarding the organisation's presence in Hull began in 1864, with the first branch formed in 1865. Although the Hull branch was wound up, the organisation is still operating internationally, and continues to encourage temperance and mutual support amongst its members.
