Description

Admin History:
The Hull Choral Society was founded in 1824, and met monthly at the Mytongate Masonic Hall. The society's patron was Sir Clifford Constable, with John Crosse as conductor until 1826. The society folded in 1840, partly, suggested contemporary author and publisher, James Joseph Sheehan, because concerts were too expensive.
