Admin History:

The Hull Fencing Club was formed on 25th March 1928 and a week later changed its name to The Kingston-upon-Hull Fencing Club. Its club colours were maroon, mauve and silver. Practically all of the members were novices with members receiving instruction from Sergeant Hankinson. In 1928 a Ladies Section of the Club was formed but this appears to have been short-lived as a distinct entity. In October 1932 with only five members remaining the club was forced to close.
