Description
- Admin History:
The club was officially formed in 1934 when the team was admitted to the local East Riding Church League. After the Second World War the club moved to the East Riding Amateur League and remained in this league until 1969 when they joined Division Two of the Yorkshire League.
When the Northern Counties East League was formed in 1982 the club finished runners-up in Division One North and despite being offered promotion to the Premier Division they were unable to accept as the ground facilities were not up to the required standard. However, when they won the Division One title again in 1985/86 they were able to take advantage of their promotion.
In the 1999/2000 season they won the Northern Counties East League Championship and gained promotion to the Unibond League.
The 2012-13 season saw the club complete the League and Cup double and they won the East Riding Senior Cup. North Ferriby became only the third team to retain the League Cup and the fifth to complete the NPL Title and Cup double.
The club has continued to be successful in the Conference North League and cup competitions reaching the fourth round of the F.A. Cup in the 2014-15 season and winning the FA Trophy at Wembley the same season.
