A dedication to Sir Samuel Standidge. Previously loose within L SP/92/5. Written on the front is a note saying that 'John Tickell was a poor drunken parson of Hedon and that the knight [Samuel Standidge] of Hull deserved not the praise which is here given to him', probably a later 19th century addition. Author of this note is not known.
