Description:
Two items which were found amongst photocopies of the letters in this series and used for the book 'Remarkable Lives, Letters & Photographs'. The draft letter appears to be from Louie Burrell to Miss Morison and dated 15 Jan (no year). It relates to tuition fees, the inability of anyone to separate Louie and Philippa Burrell and Miss Morison's relationship with Philippa. The postcard was written by Philippa Burrell, with Grassington postmark, to her mother, Louie Burrell asking for receipts to be sent, expressing disappointment that the owners of Scar Top will not sell and depressed at being homeless (c.1957).
