Article concerning a protest march against the rising cost of living by the Women's Guild led by Mrs Rene Short, MP, and former national president Mrs Doris Fisher, MP. The march ended at 10 Downing Street where a letter of protest was presented on behalf of 30,000 members. Note that the article is accompanied by a photograph showing various members of the national executive of the Womens Guild, including one figure annotated 'ME' possibly being Mrs Clarice Scruton.
