Slides showing local, national and international geological features, maps and paintings. Many of the images appear to have been used for articles, lectures and books, such as 'A History of the Spurn Lighthouses' and 'The Two Earliest Maps of Hull'. Some of the slides appear to have had selective elements enlarged and reproduced as black and white photographs. Copyright ownership is unclear. A wide array of historical material was used and does include projections and conjecture resulting from George de Boer's research.
