Comprises colour, black and white and sepia photographs, many labelled and dated and sorted into sections. Includes photograph which appears to be of George de Boer with man, possibly brother Frank, on top of a hill; Hymers College staff and students, possibly showing George de Boer (Jul 1947); Boys Brigade, Derringham Bank about 1937 or 1938; group of women posed by bus, 'City' Photographers' stamp on rear (c.1950s-1960s); two class photographs labelled on rear stating position of 'Dad', possibly Hessel de Boer (c.1890-1910); two photographs of posed groups at Corporation Bazaar (1911), one marked 'Campbell St Chapel' and other with letter which includes condolences on death of George de Boer's mother (Dec 1957); various Varsity and Public Schools North of England Camps, including Swanland (1937 or 1938), Wawne (1937 and 1938), Buxton (1938 and 1939), Muker (1935 and 1936), Hilston (1937) and Seascale (1938-1939). They show a range of activities, excursions and camp life. One sent as postcard to George de Boer. One labelled 'Ray Williamson' (see also U DDB/1/4)

Contains colour, black and white and sepia postcards of various locations including Spurn Lighthouse, Hull, Market Rasen and Kirkbymoorside. They appear to have been sent by and to members of the de Boer family, including between George de Boer's parents before they were married (1905-1933).

Also black and white postcards of Hymers College, Hull and Burnby Hall, Pocklington, the latter written by 'George' and sent to 'Ma' (1939); black and white photographs of various groups, individuals and sports teams at Pocklington and Buxton; Scientific Society outing to Goathland and pupils attending Coronation service, some annotated and dated and one with copyright stamp from Hull Daily Mail (1936-1939). Also black and white photographs of Hymers College Officer Training Corp '1934 Tweseldown? 1937-1938 Strensall', some annotated and dated (see also U DDB/1/3).
