- Description:
a) Sir W. L. covenants that if Edward V. (son and heir of J. V. and deceased wife Cassandra, sister and heir of Oswolde London, deceased) dies, so that the inheritance of E. V., O. L., his father John L., or of C. V. passes to him (W. L.), then within three months he will convey the same (in South Cave, North Cave, Newton, Elton, Beswycke and Beverley) to J. V., Sir Peter Vavasor and his sons George and Thomas, all of Spaldington, and Peter V., son and heir of J. V
b) J. V. covenants to grant the advowson of Woghton (Woughton on the Green), Buckinghamshire, to Sir W. L. before ensuing Purification B. V. M.; to find him in meat and drink and 40s. yearly until he be promoted to that benefice or a sufficient other by means of J. V., to pray for the souls of their friends at some convenient place to be appointed by J. V.; and to pay him 100 marks by yearly instalments of £13.6.8. after the conveyance as (a) is executed
c) Sir W. L. to be bound in £1000 for performance of these covenants
