Reference No:

Dates:
2 May 1871
Description:
Says he is glad that he has some money from the Hunters even if it is only a little. The Hunters have moved out of the lower part of Mount Eden as it is too small and Mr James would not leave the upper one. Believes Mr Hunter will take the upper part when the lease expires. Wishes he could hear of his family sending him money from England but fears it will never happen.
