Has received a letter from Mr Daniel who has been obliged to speak to Raleigh very seriously. Raleigh, at the time of this letter, is almost twelve years old. Charles writes of the importance of education. Mary writes about a flower that only blooms at night she has grown on her veranda. Hopes that he likes his new sister's name, Amy.
