For £200 paid by him, by the hands of Sir Thomas de Bolton, for a fine for the lands of his nephew, William Paynel (whose heir he was), according to the 'dictum' of Kenilworth; which lands had been granted by the King to the Lord Edward on account of William's transgressions against the King in the late disturbances in the kingdom. Given at London. Seal of Lord Edward, armorial, England and a label of 5 points, the edges chipped away
