i) Richard Shirburne of Stoniehurst, esq, ii) Isabell Towneley, widow of Nicholas T. of Royle, esq. dec'd. and iii) Thomas Hesketh of Maynes, William Towneley, gent., Henry Blundell of Prescott and Richard Sherburne of Buckley, gents: prior to marriage of Richard Sherburne, gent., son and heir of R.S. (as i) and Isabell Inglebye grandaughter of I.T.: for his marriage portion of £3,000: manors of Stoniehurst, Aighton, Bailey, Chagley, Wiswall, Dutton, Cattforth, Carleton, Hambleton, Chorley, and Langton, co. Lancs. The wapentake court of Chorley and of the bailiwick of Lealand. Manors of Steed and Haworth, and the parsonage of Mitton. Lands of Laigrim alias Laithgrim Park and the fields and closures of Laigrim. Lands of Windie Hills in the forest of Bolland. And all his other estates in such places and in Ellell, Longton, Ribchester, Chippin, Alston, Cliderowe, Whitingham, Haighton, Grimsargh, Combrall, Goosnargh, Plumpton, Mearley, Newsom, Sowerby, Inskipp, Poulton, Bispham, Norcrosse, Horseholme, Great Hoole, Howick, Eccleston, Whitle in le Woods, Thorneley and Lancaster, co. Lancs. (excepting a burgage house in Lancaster in tenure of John Carter). Manors of Wiglesworth, Eshold alias West Eshold and Guysley; and estates in such places and in Baildon, Hauksworth, Menston alias Mensington, Bolland, Grastongill, Whitledale, Bradforth, and Holden, co.
