Description:

(i) Covenant by James Turner of Howden to Edward Stabler of Gate Fulford : for production of deeds relating to lands in Skipwith bequeathed by Will of Francis Winder to his niece Mary wife of E.S., 16 January 1730/1.

(ii) Copy Letter of Attorney : Edward Stabler of Philadelphia merchant to his father Edward Stabler of York gent.: to recover all debts due to him and to act for him in respect of property in Skipwith and West Cottingwith: Witn. Anto. Wells, Daniel Stanton, Jas. Humphreys, notary public. (Copied 10 March 1755 by John Graves and Sam. Stabler), 6 May 1754.

(iii) Copy Affirmation by Anthony Wells of Mason's Court, Brick Lane, co. Middlesex merchant (a Quaker) that he saw Edward Stabler sign (ii) above, 12 July 1754.

With undertaking by Richard Watson to produce originals of (ii) and (iii), 11 March 1755.
