Description:

For £4000: John Lockwood to Edward Eyre of Camden Place, parish of Walcot, near Bath esquire. Woods and underwoods (the woods and underwoods being East Woods and Little Wood or West Wood, 346 ac. in all) 24 oxgangs demesne, and a little close called Hencroft in Walkington. Welton Ings or Salt Meadow in Welton and allotments made at Walkington inclosure to J. L. for duration of lease as U DDJL/3/35 with remainder to Bishop of Durham (i.e. 116ac.14p.;1ac.1r.12p.; 58ac.1r.9p. and 37ac.1r.10p), 16/17 May 1796. Endorsed with redemption, 30 Jan 1818.
