Messuage, 16ac. arable, 2 1/2ac. meadow in Greate Ynges, closes called Cockell Croft and Tynckler Closse or Isabell Rydeinges, and 4ac. meadow in Great Ynges called the Gape Flatt (in tenures of J.P. the father of John Cowper). Also rent charge of £22 out of property of J.P. the father (excepting property as U DDPA/7/124, and that excepted in U DDPA/7/124): Witn. Brian Palmes, Richard Addam, William Dawson. Endorsed with affidavit of William Palmes of Naburn esq.: 'the rent has been paid to John Palmes the son (alive, living in England, aged 68, and never having been sequestered for delinquency or recusancy) by Sir George Palmes; etc., 9 November 1650 And with memorandum of production to William Palmes 'at his examination'.
